What follows are forty plus pictures. Most all of them were taken by our medical volunteers during their one week "tour of duty." The first half of the pictures show the nearly complete devastation of certain parts of Port-au-Prince. (Near the Heart to Heart major clinic in the Bel Aire district of Port-au-Price. In fact, the rubble is getting so deep in certain areas, that I am beginning to refer to Port-au-Prince as "Port-au-Rubble." These first pictures are followed by several pictures of the "tent cities" that are all over the city. The last pictures show our Heart to Heart clinics, our volunteers, and some slides of our Heart to Heart Volunteer Center, where are long and short term volunteers live. By the way, the very first picture is a map of Haiti, showing where the areas of Port-au-Prince that were hardest hit."
The Road to Fondwa
This video shows how difficult it is to drive the mountain road from Port-au-Prince to our Heart to Heart clinic at Fondwa. Our teams go there each Thursday. I, personally, travel there twice each week on average. Fondwa is Heart to Heart's largest partnership outside of the capital.
This video shows our largest Heart to Heart clinic. It is located in the Bel Aire section of Port-au-Prince. When we have a full staff, we utilize 7 MDs, 4 RNs, plus a support staff of nearly two dozen, interpreters, security personnel, etc. This clinic sees approximately 250 to 300 patients each day, six days each week. You will see a group of people walking down the stairs from the third floor to the second floor. These are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder patients. There are nearly 100 of them. All having lost family members, homes, jobs....and they share one thing in common: they are sleeping in the streets of Port-au-Prince. At the end of this video you will see a man in green scrubs, his name is Bill Dawson, he is Heart to Heart's Medical Director in Haiti. The people in red shirts, are Heart to Heart medical volunteers.

Weber Update from Haiti #6
With this update, we are beginning to post some of the videos that we are shooting in Haiti. These two videos hopefully will help you see a glimpse of what is going on in Haiti. I'm definitely not a photographer, but if a picture is worth a thousand words...then this is worth the effort.
Blessings.
Video #1: Across the street from the Hotel Montana.
Many of you will remember the hotel Montana when it was in the news. There was a large loss of expatriate lives in this hotel. This video was taken across the street from that hotel. It shows a little of the endless number of destroyed homes. Literally hundreds of thousands of Haitians have lost then homes...and no one seems to know how to go about replacing them.
Video #2: New Tent City.
There is nothing "special" about this tent city (that we were driving by on our way up the coast of Haiti, north of Port-au-Prince). Except for one thing: it didn't exist last week. These new tent cities continue to spring up in many areas across the country. Where are the people coming from? The best estimates seem to indicate that well over one million Haitians are living in these tent cities at the present time.
Blessings.
